For Future Entries

A friend of mine who is also a Filipina met her European boyfriend here in Changchun. They have been together for more than two years. And while they are together longer than us ( R and I), they are not married yet. It’s not that they don’t like to but because she can’t get married to him. As we know well, there’s no divorce in the Philippines so even if she has been separated from her husband for seven years, she still cannot legally get out from her marriage.

She said she’s reading my blog and she noticed that I am giving advices on how to process pre-wedding documents and she hope that in my future entries I would also write about how to annul your marriage in the Philippines. I said it would be difficult because I was never in the situation but she offered to help me. Right now she’s in a middle of an annulment process so she will be a very good source. I think it would be great.

Well, we’ll see.

Winter Socks Suck!

We have the year’s first snow today. Marcus said it is kiddie snow compared to how much snow they experience in Austria. For me this 7 inch snow is already a nuisance. I mean, snow is beautiful and I like to look at it from inside of a building but when it comes to going out you can count me out.

I remember, before I came to this place I was so looking forward to experience snow because we don’t have it in the Philippines. My first week of snow is fine but afterwards I got sick of it. Not of snow but of winter in general and all the things you need to do to survive this excruciating season.

I hate putting on so many clothes to keep me warm. I hate the oily feeling I get from body moisturisers which I need to apply to prevent my skin from becoming flaky. I hate all the things I needed to do extra for winter. Sigh* I wish we can skip this season.

At Home with R

We have our first snow here today. For once, the weather forecast is right.

R decided to stay home today because he claims he have a terrible headache. Ja ja. I think he just wants to play around with his new laptop. He installed Linux in it last night and he didn’t part from it since except for a few hours when he decided to join me in bed to sleep. He called in sick this morning and surprisingly, his boss and three more of his colleagues are also “sick” and are staying home. WTF! These employees are so unbelievably spoiled! R said it is pretty much the end of their project already so there’s not so much work for them. He said it is perfect time to use their “sick leave” and other sickness benefits.

Okay, I have to admit I like it very much that R is staying home today. I just wish that he would spend more time with me than with Linux.

Sad News for Bloggers

Bloggers out there who lost their page rank and don’t know why, here is an explanation.

I know it’s unfair….

After the Party

My friend Jane, invited us to attend the Birthday Party of her boyfriend Juergen yesterday. For me, it was fun considering that the Buffet table was filled with Filipino food. (Yum, yum!) Alcohol was overflowing as well and my husband Marcus got so drunk and that he is still dead to the world until this time. I didn’t drink one drop of alcohol but I also feel that I needed to stay in bed. I feel tired. There were a lot of people there yesterday and though I am not anti social, being with people who are stranger to me wear me out me for some reason. I don’t know but after a gathering like that, I feel I need to replenish by being alone. Glad Marcus is still asleep.

By the way, I got an email from Blogvertise today telling me that this blog is accepted however, it is still under probation. Meaning, for 60 days they will monitor this blog’s progress. So I hope this blog is progressive enough after those 60 days.

Lazy Saturday

We just had breakfast after waking up so late.

i love Saturdays….

WordPress Allows Payperpost Now?

I signed up with Payperpost using my blog at WordPress.Com which has a PR of 6. That was before I learned that WordPress.com banned sponsored posts. My WordPress.Com blog was accepted by Payperpost and I can see a lot of opportunities every time I log in to my Payperpost account. But because I know now that I can’t write sponsored posts on my wordpress.com blog, I never accept an assignment from Payperpost. I was afraid that WordPress will suspend my account. Awhile ago, I was looking for some updates on this matter hoping that I would find something like : WordPress allows Payperpost again but I didn’t find it. What I found are some WordPress blogs which are still able to write for Payperpost. Looks like DSimple and Blessingsoflove are allowed to post sponsored posts. Now I am confused, is PPP allowed in WordPress again and they’re not making it public or PPP is still banned?

Enlighten me please.

Drained from Blogging

I have three blogs and I write at least one entry in each of these everyday. I love doing it specially because I am earning money from it but sometimes it makes me feel so drained. I wonder if any of you bloggers out there feel the same thing.

This blog is quite new and it is highly personal unlike my first two blogs. My first two blogs are of certain niches and are informative but are less personal. They are the ones which are taking so much of my time. After writing posts in them, I immediately feel drained. When this happens, I normally take a break by going to the living room to watch an episode of CSI, Ally Mcbeal, Friends, or Simpsons.

Since, I am accepting sponsored posts in my other two blogs I have see to it that I write quality posts in them. It’s not that I don’t write quality posts here. Of course, I do with utmost honesty but this blog compared to the other two is way more relaxed. It’s like the things here are the things I am thinking about when I am not writing for money. More like an actress off stage.

In due time I would also like to earn money from this blog but it got me thinking… if I am going to do it, there would be no “relaxation blog” for me. So I will probably not. Or maybe this blog’s earnings will be solely from sidebar ads not from sponsored posts. I don’t know yet. We will see.
