I just came out of the shower and after drying off the next thing in my routine was applying the lotion. Well, I know I am not alone. There are lots of people who do this, even men. It’s not just vanity. It’s part of the hygiene now.
My brother hates it so much when I take over the bathroom ahead of him. He knows that I will spend hours in there doing my bath ritual. One time he asked me… “What’s keeping you so long in there?” What else can I say? I was applying my newly bought coconut and lime moisturizing body lotion. I have to. I came out of the bathroom after half an hour. He was already leaning on the bathroom door and almost fell down when I opened it. I could see the anger in his eyes as he bombarded me with a lot of questions… “What’s up with the lotion? Why do you have to put it on your body? It’s too greasy. It’s a waste of money. And it’s taking you so look in using the bathroom.”
I just looked him in the eyes with affection and a smirk in my lips and replied with another question… “Can you eat your toast without butter?” Confused with what I just said, he answered back… “No!” [with an upward tone.] Then, I gave him a big smile and went to my bedroom to finish the ritual.
That settles the dispute.
My hubby is a coffee guy. I am not. I hate coffee. I guess that is one of the differences we have. But I love tea. I am a tea gal. He is not. He hates tea.
