Queen of Soap Opera

I turn on the TV set the moment I open my eyes in the morning. I need it to completely wake me up. Hubby needs it to check on the weather. The TV will be on the moment I wake up and will be turned off the moment I go to bed. In other words, the TV set is my non-responsive companion day after day. I need to hear sound and voices other my own sighs.

Being a stay-at-home wife for almost a year now, I have rise from being a plain housewife to “queen of soap opera”. While doing all my chores, blogging and what not I would watch or just listen in the background all the shows in any channel to spice up my day. In that case, I have noticed that I regularly watch the noontime “soap operas” on TV even if I hate it. But I have no choice it is the only show that I could watch because we don’t have cable for the TV in our bedroom. And before I knew it, I’m sub-consciously looking forward to the next episode. There would be time too that I would narrate the same lines that I heard from the show when talking to my husband. Sometimes it surprised him, other times he is confused but most of the time he is amused.

Oh well, life indeed is a soap opera. And I am queen.
