Keeping Up with my Students

Keeping up with my students’ energy is both draining and exciting. Their enthusiasm for doing the unknown is both infectious and exhausting. Their eagerness to learn new things is both remarkable and stimulating. These are few of the things I learned from my students.
Keeping up with my students, I needed a strategy – lots of them. They have short attention span so I needed to come up with good motivation to keep them focused. I needed techniques – great ones. They hate monotony so I needed to come up with varied activities to keep them inspired. I needed varied teaching methods – unique ones. They get tired of doing same things over and over again so I needed to reinvent myself. These are few of the things I like about my students.
My students keep me tired yet motivated. They keep me exhausted yet optimistic. They keep me worn out yet inspired. These are few of the things I miss about my students.
