It’s been a while since I last went out in the garden. I was busy all summer blogging, organizing, and scrapbooking. Last year was different. I just arrived from the Philippines and the first thing that Hubby and I did was to go shopping for vegetable seeds for his garden. We had ample supplies of vegetables for our table the entire summer.
This year, we passed on the vegetable garden simply because Hubby and I had other plans which never materialized. The days seemed to be shorter now, and it’s only about a couple of weeks more and summer will be over soon. I went in our garden out back yesterday and saw what was used to be our vegetable garden now dressed in dried withered weeds.
One of the beauties of being a stay-at-home wife is that… you are in control of your own situation. I mean, I can go back to bed anytime I want to [right after Hubby left for work]. The chores can always wait until I am ready to take control. And I can savor the peace of the house when everyone left for work or school.
