Scanning Your Registry

I don’t know exactly how it happened but my computer experienced a sudden slow down sometime last week. At first, I thought it was a virus but my antivirus software is not detecting anything. Then I thought I should empty my temporary internet files because I was told that a full temp folder could also cause slow down so I emptied it but still, I can’t see any improvement.

I tried to read forums about how to fix it but honestly, I got more confused so after trying some advised software tools that didn’t work, I decided to just reformat my computer. That was a lot of work. I have to install everything again but I am quite pleased now because I am sure that my computer’s system is clean.

My husband told me I could have also just run Windows Registry Cleaner because errors in the registry are major cause of system slow down. It happens and it cannot be avoided especially if you install and uninstall software frequently. If you are experiencing the same thing, don’t give up just yet (like I did). Try scanning your registry first. There are a lot of registry scanner software and LiUtilities.com is good place to download a free one. Scanning your registry could save you from going all the troubles of reformatting.
