Earn Money from your Blogs

Earning money from blogging is not difficult but if you blog for fun then continue doing it that way. Earning money from your blogs also has its consequences so unless you are ready for the consequences, you can’t use your blog to generate money.

Before you sign up in the get-paid-to blog sites listed below, think again. Are you sure you want to use your blog for advertising? Are you prepared to hear other bloggers telling you that your blog is a splog (spam blog) and that it contributes to the pollution of the blogosphere? Are you prepared to be Google slapped and lose your Page Rank? If you are not ready for any of those things then be happy to put some Adsense ads on your sidebar. Adsense is like a turtle money maker but at least, with Adsesne, you are not making an enemy of yourself.

But if you dare to use your blog to earn money, make sure that your blog meets some requirements like;

1. Is your blog at least 90 days old?
2. Are you cache by Google?
3. Do you have a Page Rank?
4. Does your blog contain at least 10 posts for the last 30 days?

These are just some requirements. Your blog has to go through an approval process but if your blog meets the four points listed above, it will most likely be approved by these get-paid-to blog sites:

1. Payperpost: is probably the oldest and most popular blog advertising networks but they have the strictest rules when it comes to everything. Once they accept your blog, you can be sure to have a lot of opportunities because Payperpost have a lot of advertiser.

2. SponsoredReviews: also have a lot of advertisers and the coll thing is, you can set your blog’s minimum price but if your price is too high and your blog does not have impressive Google Page Rank, Alexa Rank, Link Popularity, and Technorati Rank then you’ll probably won’t get a single advertiser.

3. Loudlaunch: pays you monthly for approved posts. They give you two hours to write about an opportunity you accept. Louchlaunch is also a great blog advertising network however they do not have a lot of opportunities yet.

There are more out there but these three are the most reliable. You can expect to get paid for your work on the date stated. And if your blog does not meet the requirements yet, build it up. Give it at least three months. And if for some reason your blog didn’t get approved then you can always resubmit it at a later time.

Updating Your Drivers

If you are having some problems with your computer and it’s not about a virus or a registry error, it may be because some of your drivers are old and they need to be updated. If you don’t know how to update drivers, you are not alone. Many computer users are clueless when it comes to what lies beneath the functioning hardware parts of a computer. If you are one of these people, don’t worry, it is easy to learn how to install and update hardware drivers.

First, it is important to know what a driver is. A driver is a file that controls an internal or external device such as webcam, printer, LAN card, DVD ROM, and others. Windows (or other OS system) uses these drivers to communicate with the different hardware attached to it.

Most of the time, Windows can detect if there is a new hardware connected to it and will automatically install it but there are sometimes you need to install the drivers manually and there’s also a Windows’ wizard to help you do that easily.

Sometimes a particular hardware needs to update its driver for newer version and added functionality. You can search the net for the manufacturer of the hardware, download the driver from them, and install it manually but if you would like to skip the hassles of doing all those things, you can do it automatically with some help from software such as DriverScanner. Uniblue, the makers of DriverScanner, offers a free scan to you help you track which hardware need driver updates and for only 29.95$, you’ll be able to register it and use all features and automatically download latest drivers.

How Do You Like Your Eggs?

PhotobucketI have a headache. I am not feeling really good today. And to top it all, we ran out of eggs. Yes, eggs! It’s a big deal. You may find it unimportant but for me it’s a big deal. Hubby can’t have breakfast without eggs. Egg is a basic thingy on his breakfast. And he only wants it one way… over easy.

Before I came to Maine, the only things I know about eggs are… hard boiled, scrambled or sunny-side up. So imagine my shock when the waitress asked him the first time we dined out for breakfast… how do you like your eggs? He said… over easy. Since then, I would never make eggs any other way. For him, it’s always over easy… real runny… and no catsup.

Cool Gift

I received a call from my friend a couple of weeks back. She is inviting me to her daughter’s 16th birthday. She is her one and only child and we are all excited about the whole birthday thingy. I love birthday parties. I love to see the glow in the birthday celebrants’ eyes when they opened the gifts. And so I searched in the internet for some gift ideas for this sweet sixteener.

Then, I stumbled upon BabyPhat.com and checked out their Baby Phat Jackets. The jacket is a nice gift for my friend’s daughter since it’s almost fall now. And I got a real good deal on the jacket – I bought it 50% off. BabyPhat.com offers a lot of cool things to buy online at reasonable price. So, the next time you think of special gifts to special someone… think Baby Phat.

Who’s Driving Me Crazy Now?

PhotobucketI cleaned my car this morning. I vacuumed. I polished. I wiped. It’s a once a month ritual actually. But last month I didn’t do it. I was lazy to do it. You see, my Hubby is the one driving my car more often since I still don’t have my Driver’s License yet and because my car is 36 mpg it saves us more money on gas.

He drives it to work but he drives me crazy. He drives me crazy because he keeps a lot of garbage in it… sandwich, chocolate and chips wrappers… empty soda bottles… lunch paper bags… crumpled papers and what not. That trash never made it to the garbage bin unless I do it myself.

Well, there is a good side to it anyway. My hubby would never ever throw anything outside the car window. That is why whenever I go for a run and see empty bottles, wrappers and what not along the ditch… I know for sure that my Hubby did not do it. He will never be caught littering.

My Cold Dessert

I love cold desserts. I am fond of smoothies. And I scream for ice cream. So I was thinking of making my own cold dessert today. Today, I plan to make a popsicle made out of real fruits. I used to put a bunch of seedless grapes in a Ziploc plastic bag and popped it in the freezer and once it’s frozen that would be my grape sorbet. I just so love it because it’s natural with no sugar added.

But today, I was thinking of strawberry popsicle because I love strawberries. So I went to the grocery store and looked for strawberries. Geez they are so expensive. I had second thoughts of buying them so I decided to go to the freezer section to find something else and viola… I found a box that says all natural fruit bars and they come with strawberry flavor. I got that instead because it’s cheaper than the strawberry and I don’t even have to make it anymore. I just popped it in my mouth. Yummy-licious.

Something to Keep Me Warm

We woke up to yet another frosty morning. The temperature went down to freezing point despite the fact that it is still summer. The landscape started to change its color and there is a familiar hint of coldness in the air. It’s almost fall so I already started checking out my fall-winter clothes to see if I can still wear them. I did gain weight this summer and sure, I do need to buy a few necessary items for fall and winter like leggings.

Leggings are not just an ordinary apparel for me during this kind of season. It is a necessary piece of clothing that I wear all the time to keep me warm during wintertime. And this year I already made my orders online from Hue.com. They sell the best leggings, tights and all kinds of legwear at reasonable price. This winter, I know that keeping warm will not be a problem because I’m all set.
