Bridging

bridgeI finally got the chance to take a weekend break from blogging. It was not really very special but at least I was able to breathe in fresh air and pig-out on all-pinoy-food and catch up with the latest news with my friend Medy. After being entertained by Maya’s crazy antics [Medy’s 3-year old daughter] taking a walk was the best option not to get indigestion from over-eating.

As usual we went to that same bridge where we love crossing on foot. At this time of the year, it is simply amazing. Fall brings a magnificent effect on the landscape and we just love the sight. We didn’t care about those cars crossing the bridge because the view is too imposing to notice other things.

Weekend Blues

fairIt was a fairly fair day last weekend. We went to the fair and I had my traditional “fried dough”. The temperature was kinda low so it was chilly but the sun was bright and warm so I didn’t have any trouble with the over-all climate unlike in the passed few days. And just like any weekends we had in the past, we also had a blast cleaning the house inside and out. [It was a good diversion from blogging somehow.]

Oh well, that’s a routine. It’s fall so got to get rid of all the leaves on the ground and trim the grass. My driving skill still sucks so it was a great opportunity for me to practice with the lawn mower. LOL.

More Reliable than Her Ex

My friend called me last week. She has problems with her car. She needs a new one because the old one needs to retire permanently now. It has been more than 15 years old and has served her more faithfully than her ex-husband did. LOL. Anyway, the only problem is that she has no money to pay for the new car.

So as usual, I went online to find out how to help her and googled on Car Loans. There I found CompleteLoanSource.com, an online one stop shop for loans and other credit related services such as Cash Advance, Auto, Personal, Payday Loans and others. CompleteLoanSource.com provides nationwide online financial services to people who are in need of financial assistance.

My friend didn’t have a hard time obtaining the car loan she needs. My friend applied online without hassle. Application was free of charge and easy. Now, my friend has a new car and can go to work without problem. Indeed, CompleteLoanSource.com is more reliable than her ex-husband. [That's according to her. hahahahaha]

Blogging Sickness

glassI’m still not in a blogging mode by as what they say – you got to do what you got to. So here I am. For a couple of weeks I was tied on my other blogs redesigning, re-lay-outing, re-installing and re-what-not. And blogging just didn’t have any place in my wicked hectic schedule because my mind wasn’t functioning the way it should be too. I was in total blogging-coma and needed ICU to get better.

Oh well, bloggers do get sick too. But I feel better now. Now that I was able to do the things that need special attention. Now, I am blogging again though it will take awhile to rewire my brain to thinking topics and issues that are worth writing about at least I was able to make my fingers work on the keyboard again… and that is a good start.

Tips on Choosing a Wedding Dress

One of the most important decisions you will make when planning your wedding is selecting the perfect wedding gown. You’ll be faced with numbers and numbers of wedding dresses making it more difficult for you to choose “the one”. So here are few tips on choosing the perfect wedding dress for brides-to-be.

bestbridalprices.jpg1. Have plenty of time. Technically you can get married a few days after your engagement but why the rush? Forget about spontaneity and impulsiveness. Plan! Consider it as a one time thing in your life so it should be really really special. Planning a wedding and rummaging through bridal dresses can take a lot of time so be sure that you have plenty of it.

2. Have plenty of choices. Don’t decide immediately. Try as many wedding gown as you can and then try to narrow down your choices as you go until you finally settle on the best one.

3. Have at least one sincere and honest person with you when choosing a wedding gown. Sure, you have a taste but comments and criticism from others can be very helpful.

4. Consider the bridesmaid dresses when choosing your wedding dress because it’s important that your wedding dress will make you stand out from the rest.

So there you go. Good luck in your quest and you may directly start looking at BestBridalPrices.com for the perfect wedding dress.

The Future of Blogging for Money

Quality of blog and content is becoming more and more important even to blog advertising networks which were initially accepting any blogs. PPP, for instance, has become stricter with approving blogs to join their network. In fact, they are even dropping blogs that are already part of the network if they proved that these blogs don’t continuously meet their requirements.

One of my blogs was approved by PayPerPost sometime in November and from then on to this day, I made a total of 100 sponsored posts and earned a total of 2,044.51$. That’s not much but considering that it comes from only one blog advertising company (PPP) makes it not bad at all. I am also a part of other blog advertising companies and the total monthly amount I earn from all of them can be surprising but I am most satisfied with PPP.

I am honestly unsure of what the next few months will bring to bloggers who do sponsored posts. Problems such as Google Page Rank drop and the stricter policies of blog advertising companies make blogging for money more difficult.

I think blog advertising is becoming more mature. You cannot just have a blog and advertise in it. Your blog should really be worthy of the ads and at the same time the ads should also be worthy to be placed in your blogs.

This Is the Last Time

I promised myself not to care and not to talk about it ever again because it makes me a little bit sad and angry each time but I can’ help it. So allow me for the last time to talk about how disappointed I am about the fact that I no longer own a blog that has a PR higher than 3. :(

pagerank.JPGMany of you will tell me that it’s just fair because I am obviously accepting sponsored posts but please note that I don’t use all my blogs for sponsored posts. Most of them yes but even those that are not used for sponsored posts got their ranks demoted.

So I am wondering how does Google decide which blog or site gets demoted or promoted. I know it is secret and only known to Google but still how can the majority of internet advertising depend so much on such ambiguous ranking system?!? (Not that I am expecting answer to that because I know). It’s just stupid and crazy.
