I’ve been doing a lot of online shopping lately. It started when my husband got sick and needed to stay home for two months. During this time, I didn’t really have the liberty to go out and spend hours in the mall because I have him and our baby to take care of.
I was able to steal a few moments to myself though and some of these moments were spent shopping online. I started shopping for some clothes and shoes online. I am not new to online shopping. In fact, I bought my MacBook from Apple’s online store and I bought my Wacom tablet and a lot of books from Amazon, but buying clothes online is something I haven’t done before. To me, I still like buying clothes the traditional way. I want to be able to try them on first before I pay for them. But lately, traditional shopping is becoming more and more difficult for me, because it’s time consuming and it is just so complicated shopping with a few months old baby—I dare not leave my baby outside of the fitting cubicle while I try on some clothes.
So anyway, my first order consisted of a simple top. I was not so sure if online shopping for clothes would work for me so I started with something small. I was doubtful about whether the top I ordered will fit me or not, whether the color is really the same like it is on the online catalogue or not, and whether the quality is good or not. But it turned out great. I didn’t encounter any problem at all so a blazer, a dress, and two pairs of shoes followed the simple top. I also started buying baby stuff online because they are much cheaper.
So far, online shopping is still working for me. I know that someday I’ll encounter some problems with it too. Maybe I’ll get something that won’t fit me, or maybe I’ll be scammed. Oh well, I just have to be careful and avoid dubious sites. Reading articles such as the dealfun.com scam articles will also help me avoid being ripped off online.
