Envy
I enjoyed doing things with my students. Their non- condescending mind-set gave me a break from prejudice and unfair judgment from the cruel world. My students gave me a new sense of confidence in what I do. And I loved to hear their laughter – so unpretentious.
But there were also times that I become impatient of my students. Their non-committal attitude made me envious. Their playfulness and prolific attitude towards things made me jealous. And I wished I was like them – so carefree.
