Grumpy Sunday

R is currently very busy in setting up his computer. I guess he got a highly destructive virus. Too bad for him, he can’t change his laptop’s OS from Windows to Linux because CATIA 5 doesn’t run on Linux and CATIA is very essential to his work.

Now, I would really appreciate it if he would also install Windows to this computer again. I told him that and he said OK, he’ll do it tomorrow evening. So I expect that on Tuesday I’ll be using Windows again. He said because I don’t like the Linux he would probably buy a laptop so he can run Linux in it. Ha! What a grand geek!

I am experiencing a terrible menstrual cramps today which adds to my irritation. R, being the darling that he is, would stop what he is doing from time to time to gave something to me—water, juice, food, pillow, etc. I should have done some walking last week because I feel that this monthly cramps is intensified by inactivity for the last few days.

Sigh! Tuesday will be a better day.

LinuX!?

I am a little bit frustrated. Reason to this is that my husband who is such a computer geek, changed the OS of our home computer from Windows to Linux. I think Linux is a very cool operating system but I do not like it because it is too different from Windows which I am so used to using. It frustrates so much because I feel like I am starting to learn how to use computer again. It’s so different! It slows me down. I always have to do something extra when I want to install something. It’s not like Windows that I can just download and install. Plus, there are a lot of soft wares I need which are still not available for Linux OS. It sucks!

Linux is a very impressive software but I think it would not be user friendly to those who’s mind are used to Windows like me. I hope I can convince him to change it back to Windows.
