I am not feeling really good today. And to top it all, we ran out of eggs. Yes, eggs! It’s a big deal. You may find it unimportant but for me it’s a big deal. Hubby can’t have breakfast without eggs. Egg is a basic thingy on his breakfast. And he only wants it one way… over easy.

Before I came to Maine, the only things I know about eggs are… hard boiled, scrambled or sunny-side up. So imagine my shock when the waitress asked him the first time we dined out for breakfast… how do you like your eggs? He said… over easy. Since then, I would never make eggs any other way. For him, it’s always over easy… real runny… and no catsup.

I vacuumed. I polished. I wiped. It’s a once a month ritual actually. But last month I didn’t do it. I was lazy to do it. You see, my Hubby is the one driving my car more often since I still don’t have my Driver’s License yet and because my car is 36 mpg it saves us more money on gas.

He drives it to work but he drives me crazy. He drives me crazy because he keeps a lot of garbage in it… sandwich, chocolate and chips wrappers… empty soda bottles… lunch paper bags… crumpled papers and what not. That trash never made it to the garbage bin unless I do it myself.

Well, there is a good side to it anyway. My hubby would never ever throw anything outside the car window. That is why whenever I go for a run and see empty bottles, wrappers and what not along the ditch… I know for sure that my Hubby did not do it. He will never be caught littering.

He has been working on it for 6 long months. It’s an old truck about more than 10 years old. He loves it so much and that is not debate-able. I can’t get jealous. At least it’s not a woman… if you know what I mean because he spent more time with it.

I just don’t know why he can’t give up on that old truck. He bought me a new car which I hardly use and kept on repairing the old truck instead. Somebody told me it’s a “male thing”, I won’t understand. So it’s a male thing alright. Now they are out again hunting… he and his old truck. Sweet!

I am not knowledgeable about electronics. I am not familiar with all the state-of-the-art electronic systems, equipments and devices. I am not an expert in modern technology either. But I know how to appreciate anything modern and state-of-the-art thingy especially if they are under the category of appliances most specifically “television” because for Hubby and I, Saturday night is always movie nights. And movie nights to us means staying at home, popping pop corn in the microwave, opening cans of beer [for hubby] and soda [for me], and sitting in front of our Sunfire Ribbon home theater system from Precision Electronics Systems.

Yes, when it comes to appliances we want the best… we want the latest… we want the finest. Good thing Hubby shares the same predicament as mine. And with that, I can say that we are lucky to know that there is Precision Electronics Systems, which is a one-stop online shop for all the top electronic products like home theater. They are the leader in designing and setting-up home theater that provide the best flat-screen and projection systems combined with realistic 360 degree surround system.

Well, if you are like us, who prefer to stay home rather than go out and drive down the cinema to watch movies why not check on Precision Electronics Systems and enjoy watching movies in the comfort of your homes.

Big Brother’s House Guests are facing eviction as of this writing. How cares?

I don’t usually watch “reality shows” neither my Hubby but there is no other TV shows that he can watch because the TV set that he is watching is not connected to our cable service. He cannot complain because his dear 7-year old son monopolizes the remote control of the plasma TV in the living room [where the cable is plugged] because Spongebob Squarepants’ newest episode is on. And insisting his stature as the head of the family will only lead to tantrums and pit. So he doesn’t want to take that chance.

Oh well, good thing I don’t really love watching TV that much or else I will also wage war to win the good fight with that “precious” TV remote.

Hubby’s friend raced car again that late afternoon and we want to see if he will make it to the top five. Well, he almost made it.

Hubby’s friend almost made it to the fifth place if he didn’t have a fender-bender collision with 4 other cars speeding up to get to the top five. Accidents do happen all the time… especially at the race tracks. He finished 6th place anyway and that is enough to keep his record and good reputation with his friends and favorite sports.

Yes, I finally drove my car alone. Hubby was tired from work and napping and felt lazy to be with me on the car so I went to the store alone. I was a bit nervous knowing that anything can happen. I was a bit edgy knowing that I am driving on a “permit”. I was a bit jittery knowing that my car is new and I don’t wanna ruin it. But I was really really careful. I went to the store and back without a single scratch.

From this experience I was able to draw a conclusion that… I am better off driving on my own because Hubby’s bitching just doesn’t help me learn to drive well.

I am furious. My computer is not working good and I need it badly. I will go crazy without my computer. Well, knowing my mood, Hubby just knows how to tame the devil in me when I am in a bad mood. He got me a new PC Notebook.

Well, it was not that easy but he knows just the right place to get the right stuff. When it comes to electronics, Hubby knows where to go to get the best deal – Shopping.com and Dealtime.co.uk. They are the best online stores for all kinds of toys for the big boys [and girls too]. They are both superb ecommerce search engines that offer thousands of great deals for online shoppers like me and my hubby. He likes these two shopping websites because they have a complete lists of stocks with competitive prices and brand names and he doesn’t have to drive down the store so he has more time to do other important things. Compare Notebooks was the first thing he did and that led him to my new Acer TravelMate which was cheap and delivered right in our doorstep.

Now I am happy and so is hubby.

He wanted to use the bathroom but his eldest daughter was inside for almost 10 years now. (Nah, I’m just exaggerating.) It’s a common situation in the house, so I am neither bothered nor surprised.

My step-daughter is a bathroom hog. She spends hours in the bathroom doing her personal business other than taking a shower and fixing her hair and make-up [like reading mails, consolidating bills, chatting on the phone, drinking beer, and only-God-knows-what-else-she-does-there]. I can’t complain. I used to be like her when I was in the Philippines. The only difference was… I was the only one who lived in the house and I didn’t have to share the bathroom with other people except with my youngest brother who only came home on weekends. And if ever I did have to share the bathroom… I still don’t because we have another bathroom in the wash area. So I am a certified bathroom hog.
